Useful Information:

Places are limited and therefore we suggest you book as early as possible.

We do understand the emergencies happen and we do our best to accommodate clients where we can.

It is advised that you give us an idea beforehand of where your pet usually sleeps as in its own bed in the kitchen or in the bed beside you. Maybe you crate sleep the dog. We do our best to keep the dogs in as much of a routine as possible.

If your dog has a special occasion as in its ‘birthday’ while it is staying with us we do our best to give it as much special attention as possible on that day.

We CANNOT promise your dog will be walked every day. Depending on the number of dogs staying it is not always possible.

We CAN promise to love and play and take as much care as possible of your best friend while you are away.

We are trained in Canine First Aid. We will, where we feel necessary, take your dog to the vet. This will only happen if we feel absolutely needed.
  • You are advised to leave any medical information with us. As in if your pet was recently ill or has been attending a vet. Also is your pet insured for vet care if so leave us the details. We use Cummins Veterinary Practice in Mountmellick. If you would prefer us to use another Vet, please let us know.

You do not need to:
  • leave feeding bowls or water bowls, unless you think the dog won’t eat or drink from a different bowl.
  • Beds or Blankets, unless you feel it necessary
  • Toys. We provide an abundance of playthings. You also run the risk that another dog will destroy the toy.
  • We advise that you keep your dog on a lead when you arrive and depart. Also make sure the collar or harness are well fitted and will not come off easily.
